UPDATE: Slow Going Near the Radford Drive Overpass Print E-mail
Written by KGMB9 News - news@kgmb9.com
January 05, 2009 03:06 PM

UPDATE: The zipper lane has been closed.

Traffic is moving more smoothly on the H-1 near the Radford Drive Overpass.

Weather damaged the H-1. Now the state's warning drivers to avoid the area near Radford Drive.

The zipper lane is still open, closing off one lane westbound near the overpass, and slowing down traffic.

The reason, is that there is a large hole that appears to be one foot deep and one foot across. The zipmobile couldn't go over it.

Crews are closing the hole up and hope to have the zipper lane closed again by about 5:15 this evening.

The DOT is asking all drivers to take the Moanalua Freeway instead.
