Pour some liquid nitrogen into the bowl and place some of the vegetables or flowers in. Depending on the size and consistency of what you put in, the time for the item to freeze will vary. Then take a look at them when you take them out. What do they look like? What do they feel like? Try crushing them (make sure there is no remaining liquid nitrogen first) or pounding them with the hammer.

You might be thinking that they should fall at the same rate, no matter what they weigh, under the force of gravity. But in this experiment, our racers are rolling, and not falling. This movement is very different from falling.

After you've eaten the meat of your drumstick, feel the bone. Is it hard? Can you bend it? Clean as much of the meat off the bone as you can and place it in the jar, then fill the jar with vinegar till the bone is completely covered. Leave it overnight. Then take the bone out and try bending it.
