Wanted Wednesday: Brandon Cajigal Print E-mail

October 1, 2005. A house party is underway on Koanimakani Street in Kapolei. Police say 25-year-old Brandon Cajigal set is sights on a young girl at the party. "He was at a party, a family party. And a juvenile female attending the party, had danced the hula as a happy birthday gift and noticed that Brandon was looking at her, following her and she felt very, very uncomfortable."

Police say Cajigal tried to talk to the girl during the party, making her further uncomfortable and eventually got physical. "A couple of hours later, her and her friends walk down the street to return a cell phone to a friend and on the way back she's confronted by Brandon and he inappropriately touches her. She keeps trying to push away, and he keeps holding her and grabbing her inappropriately."

The girl's friend comes to her rescue and they tell an adult what happened. Cajigal is asked to leave and is arrested by police five days later for sexual assault in the 3rd degree. Cajigal's convicted of the crime in November of 2006 and put on probation. But police say a month ago, he failed to check in under the strict terms of the hope probation and is now considered on the run.

Brandon Cajigal is wanted on a $20,000 cash only bench warrant for violating his probation. He's described as five foot ten, 189 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and has several tattoos. "Kahumoku on his right forearm, IKC and lauhala mat on his left forearm."

Brandon Cajigal is known to hang out in the Wahiawa area. Helping police find him could put up to a thousand bucks in your pocket.
