"If you're running and I'm looking at you from behind, I shouldn't see this. I shouldn't see the bottom of your shoe. It should look like this. Ok?" Bryan Clay said. More than 200 teenage boys and girls got running lessons from a master, Bryan Clay, the gold meal winner in the decathlon at the Olympics this year. For three hours, in the hot sun, Clay put the students through many drills, designed to shave seconds off their running time in races. "Running is not just about just going out there and moving your legs and arms. He's trying to teach more about mechanics, teaching them more about fitness and a correct, healthy life style," Kevin Chang said. Clay will hold similar clinics on Kauai on Sunday and on Lanai next Saturday. |
