KGMB9, in partnership with the Honolulu Advertiser, was proud to present two all-new debates leading up to the November 4 general election. Both debates will be presented LIVE on-air and streaming online at KGMB9.com. Howard Dicus was hosting the interactive side of the debate, and he fielded your questions for our panelists.
It has been 30 years since Hawaii last held a Constitutional Convention. And on November 4, 2008, Hawaii voters will decide again if it’s time to hold another ConCon. But what are the benefits? What are the risks? What are the costs? And what exactly is a ConCon? On Tuesday, October 14, KGMB9 answered some of your questions by hosting a live debate that tackled the tough and often confusing issues over Hawaii’s Constitutional Convention. High-profile local proponents and opponents, including State Senator Colleen Hanabusa and Hawaii Attorney General Mark Bennett, battled over key issues for 60-minutes, moderated by KGMB9 and The Honolulu Advertiser. And immediately following the end of the televised portion of the debate, KGMB9.com continued live from the KGMB9 Studios online.
