The holidays are almost here, and with the current economic flux, everyone is searching for the perfect, affordable gift for both family and friends. Swimming to the rescue is the Waikiki Aquarium, offering year-long membership opportunities that are sure to make a splash.

Through its Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium (FOWA), the Aquarium offers a number of different membership opportunities, ranging from $30 for Senior (single member over 65 years old) to $85 for Family Plus (two adults and their children under 18 years of age, plus free admission for two guests per visit). Annual benefits include free admission to the Aquarium, complimentary audio wands during visit, discounts in the Natural Selections gift shop, discounts on educational opportunities, advance notice and free or discounted admission to special events, and free or discounted admission to over 115 aquariums and zoos throughout the country.

Members will also enjoy reading Kilo i'a, the Aquarium's quarterly newsletter, as well as receiving free filtered salt water for their in-home saltwater aquariums. In addition, they enjoy an exclusive opportunity to rent the Aquarium for evening parties and events.
