Thanksgiving with Hawaii Meals on Wheels Print E-mail
Written by Ramsay Wharton - rwharton@kgmb9.com
November 22, 2007 01:47 PM

Today most of us will get together with family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving. But not everyone has a place to go. Hundreds of frail and disabled seniors in Hawaii are unable to cook for themselves.

Hawaii Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals every day to those individuals and today they're cooking up something special.  Ramsay Wharton was in the kitchen at the Palolo Chinese Home in Kaimuki, one of nine kitchens around Oahu that prepares these important meals.
