The Live and Let Live program kicked off its holiday campaign Saturday in Kapolei. Three Kapolei High School students were given awards for their holiday safety campaign posters. And a donation was presented to Ewa Weed and Seed officers. But the most sobering message of all came from actual car wrecks displayed along Farrington Highway. "I've seen throughout the island and in different areas, more and more wrecked cars are being placed in key intersections so people can see them and be reminded of the hazards of drinking and driving during the holiday season," said Wynn Warner, campaign co-founder. The campaign also includes sign-waving on major roadways through the new year. |
