Police said they found all three in a women's tent at Nanikai Beach Park. After a month-long investigation, officers executed the search warrant at the park off Farrington Highway and Hookele Street at 11 a.m. Friday. When police entered a 52-year-old woman's large tent, they said they found crystal meth, a loaded firearm, and racks upon racks of clothing. Police said Marlene Anduha was running a business out of her beach tent, and she wasn't only selling ice, but stolen goods ranging from children's clothing to woman's accessories. "Right now the officers are sorting through all of that merchandise to see if any of it is reported stolen or if we can track down who the proper owners are," said Major Mike Moses of the Kapolei substation. KGMB9 actually interviewed Anduha back in March when she was living on Maili Beach. Back then police were clearing out the homeless for a park clean up. Anduha refused to go but eventually gave in. Anduha is under arrest for drug and firearm charges. That's until police can prove her racks of merchandise were all stolen property. |
