KGMB9.com Bracket Challenge - Official Rules

Prize: Two round trip tickets to Las Vegas plus hotel stay.

1. How to Enter the Contest:

(a) The "KGMB9.com Bracket Challenge" contest will begin on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 and end on Monday, April 7, 2008.

(b) To participate in the contest email your contact information to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Applications must include erantrant's name, address, phone number, email address and birthdate. Entrants must be over the age of 21. All applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. HST on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in order to be considered eligible.

(c) KGMB9 is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, misaddressed, postage due, incomplete or illegible entries.

(d) Broadcasts are subject to preemptions and scheduling changes. If such changes occur they will be posted on the KGMB9 website.

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

(a) The contest is open to Hawaii residents and reside in the KGMB9-TV viewing area. Employees of KGMB9-TV, CBS Corporation, other television and radio stations in the Hawaii market, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are ineligible to participate or win.

(b) Viewers are eligible to win a KGMB9-TV contest only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

(c) All applications become the sole property of the Station and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work, and grant to Station the right to edit, publish, promote and otherwise use their entries without further permission, notice or compensation.

3. Prizes:

(a) One grand prize to qualifying winner: two round trip tickets to Last Vegas provided by Vacations Hawaii. Trip includes: roundtrip airfare on non stop Omni International charter flights Between Honolulu & Vegas, four nights at the California Hotel, 3 meals daily with roundtrip Vegas airport transfers.
Note: At least one guest must be a Hawaii resident or active military based in Hawaii. Guests must be 21 years or older to receive meal coupons.

4. Selection of Winners:

(a) Decisions of contest sponsors with respect to the contest are final.

(b) In the case of a tie, a random drawing from all tied entrants will determine the winner.

(c) Winners will be notified by phone and/or email.

5. Conditions:

(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Station.

(b) By participating in the contest, the winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. By accepting the prize, winners grant to Station the right to use the winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release Station, CBS Corporation, their respective parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity.

6. Contest sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement.

7. No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited by law.

8. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification.
