Hawaiian Airlines to Launch 4 New Flights to Manila Print E-mail
January 09, 2008 11:38 AM

Approximately 170,000 people traveled between Manila, Philippines and Hawaii last year. And now Hawaiian Airlines wants a piece of that action.

The state's largest airlines announced four new non-stop flights to and from Manilla per week. Flights will commence from Honolulu on April 14 and from Manila on April 17.

Philippine Air uses an Airbus; Hawaiian will use a Boeing jetliner. Philippine Airlines has three flights a week, leaving on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Hawaiian will have four flights a week, leaving on the other four days.

Philippine Air leaves in the 9 a.m. hour; Hawaiian will leave in the noon hour. Both have red-eye returns. It's a 10-hour flight.
