Experts said the slow moving a'a is about 0.4 miles away, and appears to be possibly even backing up and spreading out. At least two residents are still at the largely abandoned subdivision. Fire crews will airlift them out if needed. These are new pictures we just got late last night. The flow approaching the area began in July. At first it was heading northeast but in November a smaller flow branched off and started inching toward the subdivision. Officials are planning to flyover the area later Friday afternoon.
