If you're making weekend plans for the Sony Open, there's one Hawaii golfer to track who made his first cut in his third try.

Tadd fujikawa of course looking to be the comeback kid, just like he did last year at the Sony.

Punahou's Alex Ching not limited to his amateur status, the two time state tennis champion with his dad and his caddy look pretty cool and collected.

As for the overall leader, everyone is chasing KJ Choi. Choi with an eagle opportunity on nine, he'd come up shy, but has a two stroke lead at 11 under. Choi carded a five under 65 with six birdies and one bogey.

The local leaderboard Parker with the four under 66 for round two that pushes him over the cut-line. The cut was even par which keeps all the other locals out.

Wilson came to the clubhouse at two over. Ching and Fujikawa finished at four over. Kevin Hayashi came in at plus 12.
