| Lava Breaches Big Island Subdivision |

Lava has finally reached a largely abandoned subdivision. Several smaller flows are branching off from the main flow that stalled last week. One of them entered the east side of the Royal Gardens subdivision Sunday afternoon and more are advancing toward the area's west side. One person still lives in the subdivision, but he has not been evacuated yet.              |
