Police believe he's armed and dangerous and he's on the run. They say Lance William Fox is a suspected parole violator with a history of violence and they want him back behind bars.

In June of 2006, after serving six years at Halawa prison, police say 42-year-old Lance William Fox was released on parole. But authorities say it wouldn't take him long to return to a life of crime.

Police say Fox violated his parole last March, and was sent back to prison. But just 7 months later he'd be out on parole again, and now he's on the run.

Fox is wanted on a Parole Revocation Warrant. Police say Lance Fox has been in trouble with the law for the past 20 years with more than a 100 arrests on various charges and dozens of convictions.

"He has 44 convictions for drugs, kidnapping and robbery. He does have a history of violence," said Kim Buffett of Honolulu Crimestoppers.

Police say Fox is a dangerous man. And they believe he's armed.

Buffett said, "He has been seen at some locations with a hand gun. He's known to be armed. Be very careful do not approach him. Call 911 or Crimestoppers at 955-8300.

Lance William Fox is described as a 42-year-old Hawaiian male, 6'0 tall, weighing 220 pounds. He's bald with brown eyes and also has tattoos on his back.

Police say Fox was also last seen driving a silver, 2007, Ford Mustang convertible.

Helping police find Fox could put up to a $1,000 in your pocket. He's known to hang out in the Kaneohe, Kailua, Punchbowl and Waianae areas. Lance William Fox is our fugitive on the run this Wanted Wednesday.
