The Quarter Back Club held their annual Banquet of Champions Sunday night at the Chinese Cultural Center.

Among the honorees were UH stars Colt Brennan and softball slugger Tyleen Tausaga who walked away with the male and female adult athletes of the year award.

Iolani volleyball star Leinani Keanini, won the female prep of the year honor her counterpart was Leilehua quarter back Andrew Manly who guided the Mules to the state title.

Hawaii coach of the year honors went to softball coach Bob Coolen who guided the Bows to within one game of the World Series.

"I still wake up every morning just don't believe it. I have a booklet with everything, news papers and look at it every now and then and i'm like wow, it was a great season," said Manly.

"It's something that I really didn't know that much about until I started to get a lot of phone calls. It's kind of interesting having me be here or coach of the year is just an honor that a group like this has such a passion for all the sports and it's not just the major sports," said Hawaii coach of the year, Bob Coolen.
