A response team was even ready with guns in case the beast jumped the fence. The Sumatran tiger got loose when a gate was mistakenly left open by a zoo keeper. Fortunately, the tiger took a right turn into his feeding station. If he had gone the other direction he could have been shot. The whole ordeal happened just after 8 a.m. Thursday. Less than an hour before the zoo opens to the public, but a volunteer was inside the zoo and she came face to face with the tiger. |
