  • American Savings Bank
  • Bank of Hawaii
  • Bank of the Orient
  • Central Pacific Bank
  • First Hawaiian Bank
  • Hawaii National Bank

Donate Food

Hunger takes more than a child's health. It also steals their future.

Children who go hungry are four times as likely to suffer from persistent health problems A lack of nutrition also prevents young bodies and minds from developing properly, making it harder to learn. When you give to the Hawaii Foodbank, you're not only strengthening young bodies. You’re also nourishing young minds. Please give.

Food Donations

The top five most needed food items are:

  • Canned Meats or Tuna
  • Canned Meals (such as spaghetti, chili, or corned beef hash)
  • Canned Soups
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Canned Fruits

Monetary Donations

Every $10 donated provides 25 meals for needy island families. 94% of all donations go directly to feeding the hungry in Hawaii.

At the 2007 Food Drive, KGMB9 helped the Hawaii Foodbank meet its goal for food donations by raising 550,000 pounds of food and exceeded its monetary donation goal by more than $70,000.

With your help, we will again be able to meet an exceed the 2008 goals of 550,000 pounds of food and $450,000 in donations.
