The court ruled that Dasia Morales-Kaho'ohanohano should be awarded $1.1 million from the state's Child Protective Services. After Dasia was abused in 2001, a lawsuit claimed that C.P.S. failed to investigate properly and gave Dasia back to her mom. Two months later, Dasia ended up in the hospital with broken bones and other serious injuries. |
