A major construction milestone was completed at the Waikiki Nei Theatre, with the installation of 750 intricate and technologically advanced theatre seats. Waikiki Nei will be one of the most innovative stage shows in Oahu history and its entertainment complex will be a first in Hawaii. The seating structures are a major technological feature of the cutting-edge entertainment venue. The theatre is built so that the lower seating sections retract and are hidden beneath the top sections to create an open space. Converting the theatre into Waikiki's own upscale nightclub after nightly theater productions. It's slated to open in July. Related Stories: |
