It's the Filipino game show that's become a huge hit. It's called Wowowee and it’s on a world tour and stopping in Hawaii. More than 20,000 people are expected to be at Aloha Stadium this Saturday night to watch the game show. The stars of the show are already in Hawaii to tape the episode.

"Everywhere we go Wowowee means it’s your show. It's the Filipino show," said Willie Revillame.

The variety show is a cross between The Price is Right and bingo. Some of the contestants are picked from the audience. Others are chosen by need. Many are poor laborers selected to win cash and prizes.

"Most specially those Filipinos that work so hard the domestic helpers, we want to reach them because they're part of the show," said Revillame.

"Money means nothing but the fun is everything," said Pokwang, Wowowee Co-Host.

The hosts are a big reason behind the shows popularity. Some are comedians.

"Every time they watch me perform they going to laugh and they're going to die... I'm running out of English here!" said Pokwang.

Others are singers. Charisse Pempengco is a 15 year old rising star. She will be on Oprah next week to showoff her booming voice.

Fans of the show couldn't be happier they're all here.

"Willie is the handsome guy, I like to see him," said Nievas Solano, who waited three hours to see the stars.

"I always watch so I like to see them in person," said Corazon Lacor, fan.

"Everybody is so excited they are the number one television show in the Philippines," said Venus Florido Viloria, On Air Personality for KNDI, the Filipino radio station.

Fans and the hosts say you don't have to understand the language to enjoy the show.

"For those that have never seen the show, we promise that you guys will leave that place with a smile on your face," said Mariel Rodriguez, Wowowee Co-Host.

Tickets to the show are not free. They cost ranges from $25 to $100 but those $100 seats are sold out. The episode shot at Aloha Stadium is scheduled to air on May 24. The show is on the Filipino Channel.
