Aaron Neville burst onto the music scene in 1966 with his chart topper "Tell It Like It Is." Then he teamed up with Linda Ronstadt; the pair crooned two number one hits "Don't Know Much" and "All My Life." We are delighted to welcome Grammy Award winner Aaron Neville. He's in Honolulu to perform at the Hawaii Romance Festival.

Aaron Neville has enjoyed a long and distinguished career, both as a solo artist and as one of the Neville Brothers of New Orleans. Throughout the 1960s he recorded for local Louisiana labels before breaking onto the national scene in 1966 with "Tell It Like It Is," which hit #1 on the pop charts. The Neville Brothers began their string of successful albums in 1997, beginning at Capitol and moving to A&M. The high point came in 1989 with "Yellow Moon, written and sung by Aaron. Aaron has won four Grammys: in 1989 Best Pop Duo with Linda Ronstadt for "Don't Know Much"; also in 1989, Best Pop Instrumental Performance with the Neville Brothers for "Healing Chant"; in 1990 for Best Pop Duo with Linda Ronstadt for "All My Life"; and for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals with Trisha Yearwood for "I Fall to Pieces" in 1994. He was named "Best Male Singer" two straight years in the Rolling Stone critics' poll and has recorded a dozen solo albums ranging in genre from gospel to country. In Aaron's latest album, "Nature Boy," he reinvents the Great American Songbook with a sure, soft touch.
