On Friday, she pitched a complete game and hit a home run in Hawaii's six to one win over Fresno State. On Friday, she was back on the mound again for her 4th straight WAC tournament start. Robinson cruised along through six scoreless innings, but in the final frame her 14th inning of work, she runs out of gas. Nevada ties the game at one on this base hit, and that would be it for Robinson. She is clearly not happy about it, she won't like this either. Very next batter is Noelle Micka and she strokes one to right. Her base hit scores Kristin Stith and Nevada comes from behind to break the Wahine's hearts. Two to one was the final score. So Hawaii's season comes to an end. Maybe the Wahine could still get an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament. If not the Wahine wrap up the year with a record of 38 and 19. |
