The nominations came out this morning and she's up for a Tony Award for her performance as "Bloody Mary" in the broadway revival of "South Pacific." We spoke to her a short time ago from Broadway. "I'm just in shocked and I am humbled and honored to be a part of the five women that were nominated in this category," she said. "And if I am a small part of letting, stepping on the stage and letting people know that there is more talent in Hawaii I am so proud to do that." In all, the Rodgers and Hammerstein play has garnered a total of 11 nominations. KGMB9 is broadcasting the Tony Awards on June 15.              |
