COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - While the Democrats sort through what West Virginia's results mean, John McCain is planning on spending time raising cash in Ohio. The all-but-official Republican nominee is taking part in a private fundraiser today, and he'll deliver a speech tomorrow to try and win over the state's voters. Barack Obama ratcheted up his criticism of the Arizona senator today while campaigning in Michigan. He brought up McCain's January comment to Michigan voters that many of their lost jobs aren't coming back. He says it shows the Republican isn't offering any solutions for workers. McCain's campaign responded that the GOP candidate "is committed to breaking down trade barriers so American automakers can sell more cars abroad" and has outlined a plan "to provide real job training and assistance." |
