The Congressional House Armed Services Committee has decided the USS Missouri does not have to pay rent for two years. The memorial pays $17,300 a month to rent Pier Foxtrot-5 at Pearl Harbor. Eliminating the rent will save the USS Missouri Memorial Association $415,000 over the two years.              |
