Jeff's News Nuggets: Bones for Pot and Camel Punching Print E-mail

We'll start off this week in Liberty Pennsylvania. That's where would-be bank robber Christopher Koch almost got away with attempted robbery. After psyching himself up for about 20 minutes he put on his ski mask, grabbed his rifle, and tried to enter a downtown bank for a hold up. But it was 12:01 and the bank closed at noon. He's been arrested, and sadly he still doesn't have the money for the new watch he so desperately needs.

In Houston, three teens were recently arrested for a bizarre crime: digging up a corpse so they could use the skull as a marijuana bong. Kevin Wade Jones, Matthew Richard Gonzalez and an unidentified juvenile were arrested earlier this month after police say Jones admitted to the crime. This right here, kids, is why you should never do drugs. What seems like a good idea when you're high... isn't.

How do you turn a day at the amusement park into a trip to jail? You punch a camel. Acting on a dare, 24-year-old Christopher Allen went into a restricted area at Six Flags discovery kingdom in vallejo, california so he could hit the humped animal. He's since been arrested. Some people will walk a mile for a camel. Others are willing to hop a fence and walk a short distance in order to kick the habit.

Two New Zealand women may be thinking twice about having a glass of wine with dinner. After drinking what they thought was "Mountain Thunder" mulled wine they realized it was actually dishwashing liquid, served by accident. As soon the wy-men tasted the wine they spit it out and went to the hospital. First of all, never drink wine that comes in a two-liter bottle. Also, everyone knows that dawn is the best tasting detergent. I hear 1986 was a very good year, quite bubbly.

A 41-year-old Arkansas woman is ready to become a new mom for the 18th time. Michelle Duggar is due sometime shortly after the new year and has been pregnant for more than a combined 11 years of her life. She and her husband have had a 6 children in the months of December and January alone. Duggar jokes that quote "those two months are a busy time for us" end quote. I disagree, obviously March and April are a busy time for them.
