Wahine Softball vs Arizona State Print E-mail

The Wahine softball teams hopes of making it back to the NCAA Super Regional hit it's first speed bump Saturday, and that speed bumps name was Arizona State. The Sun Devils racked up 10 runs on 15 hits against the Wahine, including a pair of homeruns by ASU's Kristen Miller and Mindy Cowles.

Arizona State scored 5 runs in the top of the 5th, which led to the game being called for the mercy rule in six innings.

Number two Arizona gets the win 10 to zip. At last check, Hawaii was up 5 to 2 against Mississippi State in an elimination game.
