HONOLULU (AP) - Sexual assault charges have been disclosed against employees at two island schools. A 30-year-old teaching assistant is charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old special education student in a McKinley High School classroom. In a separate case, a former worker at a Big Island elementary school has been sentenced to nine months in jail for sexually molesting a third-grade boy at the school. In the McKinley case, police arrested Gregory Orlando Pili Keau, who is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault. On the Big Island, 38-year-old Cary Cantere was sentenced on two counts of third-degree sexual assault after pleading guilty to incidents at Keaau Elementary School. |
