Kawaikui Beach Clean Up on 'World Ocean Day'

They hit the water early all for a good cause. Volunteers spent the day at Kawaiku'i Beach in Hawaii Kai helping clean up the area. Not only did they pick up things like trash, but they focused on "invasive algae." As one organizer explains this form of algae is a real problem. "It's a big problem. Invasive algae covers coral, little fish can't hide out, turtles need for food," said Manuel Mejia. The clean-up was in celebration of "World Ocean Day."
