The University of Hawaii Community Colleges, the Hawaii Council for the Humanities and KGMB9 present Key Ingredients: America by Food, a Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services exhibition!

This exhibition, which is free to the public, will share the wealth of history and culture that shapes our dining habits and taste preferences in an entertaining and informative overview of our country’s diverse regional cooking and eating traditions. It investigates how culture, ethnicity, landscape and tradition influence foods and flavors we enjoy across the nation. As a partner, the University of Hawaii Community Colleges has developed ancillary exhibition panels that highlight Hawaii’s unique "Key Ingredients," underscored by the contributions of our diverse, multi-cultural population and the Native Hawaiian culture.

The exhibition will travel to four different sites on three different islands between June 28, 2008 and April 12, 2009.

KGMB9 is the official television partner for the Key Ingredients: America by Food exhibit in Hawaii, so keep it tuned to KGMB9 and KGMB9.com for more details about this exciting and tasty exhibit!
