HMSA officials say the service will be another resource for which they can deliver care. "We anticipate that 24 hours a day that there will be physicians who want to take advantage, there are people, there are physicians available in the evening, there are physicians in many different settings." The new service is scheduled to launch in early 2009. No word yet on how much the service will cost.               |
