Prize: Round-trip airfare for two on Hawaiian Airlines from any neighbor island to Oahu and two night’s accommodations at the Sheraton Waikiki (Travel dates: Friday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14, 2008).

1. How to Enter the Contest:
(a) The " KGMB9/KGMB9.com “Fly in For Aloha Festivals” Giveaway " contest will begin on Monday, September 8, 2008 and end on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 11:59 P.M. HST.
(b) To participate in the contest, you must correctly answer our trivia question and send it to us via email along with your contact information to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Applications must include entrant's name, address, daytime and evening phone numbers, email address, birth date, the name of the person entrant will be traveling with and the correct answer to the Trivia question. Entrants must be over the age of 18. All entries must be received by 6:00 p.m. HST on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, in order to be considered eligible.
(c) KGMB9 is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, misaddressed, postage due, incomplete or illegible entries.

2. Eligibility Restrictions:
(a) The contest is open to residents of Kauai, Maui, Lanai, Molokai and the Big Island. Winner must reside in the KGMB9-TV viewing area. Employees of KGMB9-TV, CBS Corporation, Aloha Festivals, Hawaiian Airlines, Sheraton Waikiki/Starwood Hotels & Resorts, other television and radio stations in the Hawaii market, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are ineligible to participate or win.
(b) Winner must be able to travel to Oahu on Friday, September 12 with a return flight on Sunday, September 14, 2008.
(c) Viewers are eligible to win a KGMB9-TV contest only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
(d) All applications become the sole property of the Station and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work, and grant to Station the right to edit, publish, promote and otherwise use their entries without further permission, notice or compensation.

3. Prizes:
(a) One (1) grand prize to qualifying winners: Round-trip airfare for two on Hawaiian Airlines from any neighbor island to Oahu and two night’s accommodations at the Sheraton Waikiki (Travel dates: Friday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14, 2008).
(b) Once notified, winner will be contacted by phone by airline and hotel personnel to confirm airline and hotel reservations.

4. Selection of Winners:
(a) Winner will be randomly selected from all entries received with the correct answer to the trivia question.
(b) Decisions of contest sponsors with respect to the contest are final.
(c) Winners will be notified by phone by Thursday, September 11, 2008.

5. Conditions:
(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Station.
(b) By participating in the contest, the winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. By accepting the prize, winners grant to Station the right to use the winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release Station, CBS Corporation, their respective parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity.

6. Contest sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement.

7. No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited by law.

8. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification.
