Blog: www.kgmb9.com/howard Video Headline:
We've got second quarter results from Mesa Air, the parent company of Go. And it's not too bad. Mesa reports a profit of 9 million, and a pro forma net loss of 4 million. The balance sheet is more complicated than usual because Mesa shut down some regional operations and it settled out-of-court with Hawaiian Airlines for less money than it had set aside. Mesa spent more than a million dollars on legal bills in Hawaii and start-up costs for its new operations in China. But the actual airline operations saw 8% more operating revenue, and some of Mesa's contracts with larger airlines call for those larger airlines to pay the fuel bill. |
