"Mahalo nui to our kupuna for their foresight in knowing what we would need to bring our language back as a living language throughout Hawaii." "So everybody came here and that's it. It should not be a big deal because that is how we were raised, speaking Hawaiian. And I see more kids being raised the same way. And that will be the norm for them." "I enjoyed how we learned more than just typical school subjects, but also how we cannot progress without understanding the past." "It feels right to me. I can see my child growing and progressing in the language." "I hope that those who started this are happy to see our generation take the language to another level, conquering more in the future." Mahalo to all who joined in the celebration and here is to many more years of success for Kula Kaiapuni Hawaii.              |
