Victorino Spoils Jones' Comeback Party Print E-mail
Written by Mike Cherry - mcherry@kgmb9.com

Tuesday night's game between the Phillies and Braves was supposed to mark the return of Atlanta's star Chipper Jones, but Shane Victorino led the way in spoiling the comeback party.

But first, Pat Burrell. Excuse me while I kiss the sky. His twentieth homer of the season. He is the third Philly to hit that mark this year. Philly one-nothing. And then in the third, Victorino. That's going all the way back to Saint Anthony. His third jack of the year is a two run shot. That makes it three-zip. But he wasn't done there. In the ninth, the single brings home two more runs.

Philadelphia wins eight to three. Victorino goes two for five with four R-B-I's.
