After taking some time off, Punahou grad Parker Mclachlin seemed well rested in round two of the AT&T National. Parker had his best round, a 66 4-under par to pull into the top 15 of the leaderboard, and guarantee that he'll make the cut for weekend play. He'll be joining the likes of John Merrick. On the 18th his second shot on the par-4, and on the day of this country's independence he is got an Eagle, so patriotic. He finished at 5-under, but the shot of the day would go to Corey Pavin at the par-3. Pavin provided the fireworks, the ball goes right towards the American flag pin and makes a hole in one. He shot a 3-under in the round. So after round 2 Jeff Overton and Tom Pernice Junior are your co-leaders at 9-under par. Kaneohe boy Dean Wilson is tied at 26th place at one-under.
