Attackers armed with pistols and shotguns ambushed a police guard post outside the building. The dead include three turkish police and three attackers. America's ambassador to Turkey is now asking for increased security and said the two country's will stand together in the fight against terrorism. "It is an obvious act of terrorism. Our countries will stand together and confront this, as we have confronted some of our problems in the pas," said Ross Wilson. Government officials said the attackers were Turkish nationals, but have not released a motive. So far, two men have been arrested on allegations of being related to the attack. |
