Anthony Carter must really like that high altitude Denver air. The former UH star had his best NBA season last year with the Nuggets and re-signed with the team Wednesday. According to the Denver Post AC signed a one year contract for the league, minimum of about $1.2 million. Next year marks his 10th season in the league and Denver is his fourth team. Carter also played for the Heat, Spurs and Timberwolves, but last season marked a career best for him with 7.8 points per game and 5.5 assists. AC says his success is a direct result of starting duties at point guard which put him along side Allen Iverson and Carmello Anthony. Carter says, "i've got to give credit where credit's due, and by me getting minutes, and having the two of the top scorers in the league helped me a whole lot." The 33-year-old now plans on moving his family and buying a house in Colorado.
