Brennan's signed a 4-year contract worth 1.8-million dollars. The Redskins who made Colt the third pick in the sixth round of this year's draft have long term plans for him. Brennan has a good chance at being the team's 3rd quarterback behind starter Jason Campbell and Todd Collins. At UH Colt threw 131 touchdown passes in his three seasons while breaking 31 passing NCAA records. Colt says he's relieved to have secured a spot on the roster before training camp this Sunday. What's really worked in the former UH quarterback's favor is his quick recovery from hip surgery. Colt's doctors say he's healthy and able and last week cleared him to get on the field, take hits and play as he normally does. The Heisman finalist's who's learned more about what might have caused his hip injury has even been given the good to go for the Redskins first pre-season game August 3. Also in KGMB9 Sports:
