It's the word Barack Obama supporters have been waiting for. Tonight, reports are the Hawaii-born senator is coming home. The Honolulu Advertiser is reporting Obama will attend a private fundraiser August 12th at the Halekulani hotel.

Obama is reportedly expected to spend about a week here and may have a public event. His campaign office here could not comment, but did say they are in planning mode. Obama last trip to Hawaii was in 2006, and on that visit he did not make any public appearances.
