The Money Mart teller follows through to verify the check by calling Central Pacific Bank where the check is drawn on. But the teller finds the account was closed in 1990. The teller calls Maile Commercial Center and found out the checks were not made out to Maka. In fact, the company doesn't even know who she is. Maka's arrested and convicted of forgery in the second degree and put on probation. But police say she'd turn to crime again the next year around Christmas time when she's stopped by Macy's security at Ala Moana Center. Maka is arrested and prosecuted for shoplifting and drugs. She's put on the strict "hope" probation. But police say she's failed to check in and on the run. She's now wanted on two $30,000 warrants for failing to comply with her probation. Tara Lynn Maka has nine convictions including trespass and burglary. She's described as 5-foot-4, weighing 221 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Maka is known to hang out in the Waianae area. Helping police find her could put up to a thousand bucks in your pocket. |
