Work continues on a water main break buried 12 feet down on Farrington Highway.

Crews finally got to the pipe this afternoon, more than 24 hours after the problem was reported. Workers say the damage appears to be on the bottom of the pipe, meaning it could take awhile to fix.

They are asking families to conserve water from Honokai Hale to Makaha through Saturday morning.

A water wagon has been placed at the corner of Laaloa place and Laaloa street.
This afternoon, two lanes were open in the Waianae direction, one in the town bound direction.
