Thousands swear by it. But the federal government filed a complaint saying those fizzy tablets Airborne do not cure or even prevent the common cold. And on Thursday, Airborne's makers agreed to pay back consumers with up to 30 million dollars. "There is no competent and reliable evidence that Airborne can prevent colds, fight germs, reduce the severity or duration of a cold, or protect against sickness in crowded places," said Lydia Paynes. You can be refunded 6 dollars and 95 cents each for up to 6 purchases. You must have bought them between 2001 and 2008. You do not need any proof of purchase for up to six claims. The deadline to apply is September 15th and you will be paid by October. Please click here to file a claim. |
