Exhibitors from across the state will feature a wide variety of products, anything and everything, all made or grown in Hawaii. Celebrating 13 years as Hawaii’s largest emporium and most diverse marketplace of local products, the 2008 Made in Hawaii Festival, presented by First Hawaiian Bank, returns to the Neal S. Blaisdell Center’s Exhibition Hall and Arena on Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17.

The “Buy Hawaii, For Hawaii” themed event will feature more than 420 booths of exhibitors from six of the Hawaiian Islands, offering a diverse assortment of the latest and greatest finds as well as old favorites.

“We are proud supporters of all these small businesses, our long-time veterans and our new exhibitors,” said Richard Botti, president of the Hawaii Food Industry Association, which coordinates the festival. “We are looking forward to another successful festival with recordbreaking attendance.” Last year, more than 35,000 attended the three-day festival.

This year, shoppers can also have their purchases shipped directly from the festival to their friends and families on Neighbor Islands and the U.S. mainland via the U.S. Postal Service booth onsite. An ideal and delightful way for shoppers to get a head start on all their holiday shopping and gift-giving needs!
