He's got more gold than Mr. T, and broken more records than the Beatles. And tonight swimmer Michael Phelps still had one more task at hand, winning his 8th gold medal of the Beijing games, and it took just 3-minutes and 29.34 seconds for Phelps to win his 14th career gold medal: 8 in Beijing, a new record. And that time also sets a new world record in the 400-meter medley relay, the 7th world record that Phelps has collected this olympics tieing him with Mark Spitz for the most ever in one trip to the olympic games. |
