"What really pleased me is we got to work on the 40-second clock. We've been working on that, we brought officials, it was being regulated and it was a game situation and we didn't have a single 4-second clock penalty which is really good to see. But it does simulate a little more, it isn't as hot as it's gonna get but we're gonna work on it a couple of times," Coach McMackin said. Coach Mack is referring to the 40 second clock that now starts at the end of every play, just like the NFL. The old college rules featured a 25-second clock that did not start until the officials marked the ball ready for play. So the Warriors are getting into game mode by keeping in mind, their time. And for some players, like quarter back Brent Rausch, it was also an introduction of sorts to Hawaii's home field the Aloha Stadium. Also in Sports at 6:
