"They observe a silver colored SUV along the curb with 4 male occupants. They watch for a while and observe that people are going and transactions are being conducted in the vehicle with the driver." Police say they observe the front seat passenger, 35-year-old Tui Sooalo, put a bag inside the center console. "Officers approach, remove the driver and drugs are found in the car... Crack cocaine was found in the vehicle and they were selling." The driver is arrested. "In this case, drugs were seen in plain view by the officers right on the drivers seat." Police say a search warrant later turns up evidence against Sooalo. "The vehicle was searched. the bag was searched and Tui Sooalo was arrested for promoting dangerous drugs. There was drugs in the bag along with paraphernalia." Sooalo was arrested at his home and charged with promotion and possession of drug paraphernalia. But police say Sooalo would never showed for his August 11th trial date and is on the run. Tui Sooalo is wanted on two felony contempt warrants totaling $160,000. Sooalo is described as five foot eleven, 300 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He also has numerous tattoos. "He has full arm tattoos on his both arms and then he has AS on his stomach area." Sooalo is known to frequent the Kalihi and downtown Honolulu areas. Helping police find him could put up to a thousand bucks in your pocket.              |
