Top Executives Clean Cars for Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific

More than 30 people, including many of Hawaii’s top executives, are lining up to clean cars to help the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, through MW Group’s B.R.I.D.G.E. program. B.R.I.D.G.E. encourages employee voluntarism by “donating” to the employee $20 an hour, for up to 12 hours a year, to participate in beneficial community projects. Employees then donate half of their “B.R.I.D.G.E. earnings” to the charity or organization of their choosing. The other half goes into an MW Group community fund. At the end of the fiscal year, a committee of employees reviews requests for the fund monies, and decides which groups or projects will receive the community funds.

The fundraiser proceeds will benefit the specialty hospital’s programs for brain-injured patients.
