Last year was perhaps the greatest season in University of Hawaii Football history. It brought the entire State of Hawaii together. New Warrior Head Coach Greg McMackin and his new Warrior Football lineup are ready and able as they prepare for battle in one of the toughest schedules in UH history.

Join KGMB9 as we kick off the season with a one-hour special, "Warrior Football: Humble & Hungry." The show will take a look at what’s in store for the 2008 Warrior Football season and who all the new playmakers are. Viewers will get a preview of the season opener against pre-season #1 ranked Florida Gators, headed by Heisman Trophy Winner Tim Tebow. Coach Mack and his wife also invite us into their home for an up-close and personal interview on their marriage of more than 40 years.

"Warrior Football: Humble & Hungry" is hosted by KGMB9 Sports Director and Anchor Liz Chun with reports by Sports Anchor Mike Cherry and Sunrise on KGMB9 Anchor Steve Uyehara. The show is produced by Executive Producer Scott Humber and Creative Director John Allen, III, the same team who received Emmy™ Awards for their work on "June Jones on KGMB9."
